During our anniversary year, EVZ Connect will bring together our partner organizations and project executing agencies to generate new input. This networking event will offer scope for active exchange, cooperation, and new ideas. Together we aim to develop practical, forward-looking responses to the challenges of our times.

25 years of the EVZ Foundation. NO TIME TO FORGET

In December, members of the Board of Trustees, representatives of the fields of business and politics, partner organizations, and civil society actors from the Foundation’s priority countries will meet in the Jewish Museum’s Glass Courtyard to reflect on the establishment of the EVZ Foundation and the implementation of the compensation process. They will also honor victims of NS injustice and send a powerful message about the importance of commitment to a living memory culture, democracy, and human rights in Europe.

Launch of the EVZ Academy online platform

The EVZ Academy online platform is the EVZ Foundation’s digital learning world. It offers interactive resources on NS forced labor, antisemitism, and memory culture and creates transnational, location-independent learning spaces in which historical education goes hand in hand with social commitment.

25 years of the EVZ Foundation. Histoday

In May 2026, a community event will bring together memory culture practitioners and activists from Germany and Central Eastern Europe. Together we will reflect on the successes that have emerged from critical examination of the National Socialist regime, and discuss how we can actively oppose historical revisionism and foster a vibrant culture of remembrance in Europe – true to Esther Bejarano’s words, “Remembrance means action”.
