1:30 p.m. Opening remarks

by our moderators Sophia Meyer-Landrut and Péter Adamik
Moderators: Sophia Meyer-Landrut (she/her, Die Gesellschaft für eine gute Zukunft) and Péter Adamik (he/him, Foundation EVZ)
Location: Auditorium

2 p.m. Future Lab

With an optimistic view into the future, we created a space for collegial exchange, mutual support and creative development. Instead of focusing on the crisis, we used the World Café format to focus on what is already working – on strategies, formats and collaborations that inspire courage. Together with you we highlighted best practices, learned from each other and jointly developed new approaches for resilient historical and political education.
Moderators: Sophia Meyer-Landrut (she/her, Die Gesellschaft für eine gute Zukunft) and Péter Adamik (he/him, Foundation EVZ)

4 p.m. You could choose between: Panel I, Dialogue Room I and the running programme.

Panel I: Self-organisations in the polycrisis: Focus on Ukraine and Germany
The Sinti and Roma communities and their self-organisations face particular challenges in the context of war, repression and structural marginalisation. How can self-organisations in Germany and Ukraine secure their capacity to act and strengthen their resilience? In the first panel, Nataliia Tomenko (she/her, Agency for the Advocacy of Roma Culture in Ukraine, ARCA) and Silas Kropf (he/him, freelance consultant for education and civil society engagement) will discussed these issues. The panel was held in English.
Moderator: Edlira Majko (she/her, EVZ Foundation)
Dialogue Room I: The Dialogue Room invited open, low-threshold exchange on questions, uncertainties and challenges in dealing with antisemitism and solidarity. Here, doubts could be expressed, experiences shared and perspectives heard – without the expectation of developing ready-made answers or courses of action.
Moderators: Maja Sojref (she/her, New Israel Fund Germany) and Joseph Wilson (he/him, EVZ Foundation)

5 p.m. You could choose between: Panel II, Dialogue Room II, and the ongoing program.

Panel II: Self-organisations in the polycrisis: Focus on European solidarity
In the second panel, we will continued our discussion on the resilience and agency of self-organisations of Roma and Sinti and LGBTIQ communities in Europe. What forms of European solidarity, political support and cross-border cooperation are necessary to strengthen self-organisations and communities in the long term? The second panel featured Chaber (they/them, ILGA-Europe, Brussels) and Mustafa Jakupov (he/him, ERGO Network, Brussels). The panel was held in English.
Moderator: Edlira Majko (she/her, EVZ Foundation)
Dialogue Room II: The second part of the dialogue room picked up where the first part left off. We invited you to discuss uncertainties and challenges in dealing with antisemitism and solidarity based on new questions. The dialogue room was open to all participants – you did not need to have attended the first part.
Moderators: Maja Sojref (she/her, New Israel Fund Germany) and Joseph Wilson (he/him, EVZ Foundation)

6 p.m. Wrap-up

Together with the Chair of the EVZ Foundation, Dr Andrea Despot, we looked back on the day. We created a space for joint reflection, where the insights gained during the day could be shared and an outlook for the future could be ventured.
