The EVZ Foundation is opening new digital learning spaces in its anniversary year. The EVZ Academy—online platform brings together digital learning resources on the history of NS forced labor, diversity awareness, human rights, and culture of remembrance—interactive, accessible, and usable for different target groups.

On December 1, 2025, the YouTube premiere of the EVZ Academy – online platform took place, moderated by Jöran Muuß-Merholz, certified educator and expert in innovative educational projects.

 

Speakers and topics:

  • Dr. Andrea Despot, Chair of the EVZ Foundation, talks about the idea and vision behind the EVZ Academy – online platform.
  • Anna-Lena Almstedt, student and co-designer of the educational program, provides insight into “Dein HistoryLab” (Your History Lab) for new perspectives.
  • Lotta Storm, project coordinator at the EVZ Foundation, explains how to use the online platform and presents the learning program “Paid off?! Is compensation for NS forced laborers possible?”
  • Dr. Dagmar Lieske, specialist advisor at the EVZ Foundation, is an expert on strategies against Antisemitism (IHRA) and provides insight into the learning program “Informed, courageous, committed!” as a joint initiative for education and awareness-raising in companies on this topic.
  • Mascha Wilke, team leader at the EVZ Academy, and Judith Blum, specialist advisor at the EVZ Foundation, provide an outlook on further developments on the platform and invite participants to exchange ideas, provide feedback, and cooperate.

A digital offering from the EVZ Academy, which develops contemporary formats for foundation work, offers interactive digital educational formats, promotes networking, and encourages engagement.
